CIUDAD MCY.- El Instituto para el Ambiente y el Manejo Integral de la Basura (Iamib), siguiendo orientaciones del alcalde Rafael Morales, realizó un despliegue de limpieza integral con labores de poda, desmalezado, barrido, recolección de desechos sólidos y vegetales, entre otras acciones, en la carretera que conduce a Choroní, labores en las que participaron más de 500 hombres y mujeres agrupados en cuadrillas de mantenimiento, equipadas con las herramientas y equipos necesarias para realizar estos trabajos.

El mandatario municipal Rafael Morales, indicó que estás acciones se realizan por segunda semana consecutiva, «durante estás dos últimas semanas del año 2021, junto a los equipos de Iamib y ConstruGirardot hemos desarrollado un exitoso operativo de mantenimiento integral en nuestra parroquia costera y turística de Choroní, con diversas acciones de desmalezado, limpieza, recolección de desechos vegetales y sólidos, además con la unidad de minishower se realizó la remoción de sedimentos y rocas; todas estas labores fueron ejecutadas en los 14 km de conexión del tramo de la carretera Maracay – Choroní».

Asimismo, resaltó que se desarrollaron trabajos priorizados en lugares y sectores puntuales que ameritaban atención en materia de asfaltado, alumbrado público y reparación de drenaje de lluvias.

«Es importante resaltar las acciones de reparación integral de la falla presentada en el sector de Romerito, sustituyendo la tubería de drenaje de lluvia, la aplicación de relleno, culminando de manera inmediata con el asfaltado; también se logró la recuperación y activación de luminarias, destacando la puesta en funcionamiento del tramo El Parnaso hasta la plaza Madre María y la colocación de reflector de 400W en el puente de Santa Clara, aunado a este trabajo llevamos el Plan de Bacheo para mejorar puntos priorizados de la vía, proporcionando una movilidad segura para los pobladores y turistas que en estás festividades de fin de año tiene mayor afluencia».

Otra importante acción de este operativo es la supervisión de la planta de tratamiento de ChoronÍ, donde se efectuaron labores de mantenimiento en todas las fosas y mejoras del voltaje en los equipos para disponer de una mayor operatividad y un funcionamiento óptimo sin contratiempos.
