CIUDAD MCY.- Desde el salón de usos múltiples de la Villa Deportiva “David Concepción”, se realizó la reunión de los clubes, atletas, árbitros y jueces de la disciplina Surf que hacen vida en el estado Aragua, con una plancha única que conforma las voluntades de esta disciplina, quedando como presiente Nael José Betancourt.

La junta directiva de la Asociación de Surf de Aragua quedó constituida por: Presidente Nael Betancourt, vicepresidente Max Ponce,  Secretario General Acarantair Mozo, Julia Quijano, y el vocal Néstor Rodríguez.

La gerente deportivo Sherezada Donis, dirigió la asamblea como vocera principal de la junta reorganizadora del Surf y fue la encargada de anunciar los detalles para llevar adelante esta elección de las nuevas autoridades del Surf en el estado Aragua.

Sherezada expresó: “Desde el 2018 hemos estado trabajando para llevar adelante lo que hoy gracias a Dios hemos podido consolidar en Surf, lo cual no es otro que llegar a las elecciones para tener las nuevas autoridades, esta es la tercera oportunidad hacemos la junta reorganizadora y logramos un consenso”. Expresó Sherezada.

Continuó relatando la gerente deportiva, “Esta única plancha gracias a las orientaciones de la dirección de Asesoría Jurídica con las abogadas Tania Carvajal y Elizobeida Suárez, hemos logrado consolidar nuestro fin común, el cual no es otro que tener las autoridades que rijan los designios de este deporte”.

Con cinco escuelas de Surf conformadas, divididas en: una de Ocumare, una de Cuyagua, dos de Choroní y una de la ciudad de Maracay pero entrena en Cuyagua, logramos el consenso para que Nael Betancourt asumiera la presidencia de la disciplina.

Sherezada afirmó, la costa del estado Aragua está presente en este acto desde Choroní hasta Cuyagua, “están presentes atletas, freesurf, jueces, escuelas y los representas del IRDA como veedores del proceso, además hay representantes de la disciplina Escalada como Manuel Cubillán y Ramón Pacheco, África Luna del club de Yoga África Moon, además Orlando Lares del Bodyboard; el haber dicho presente todas estas personas para apoyar al Surf, nos indica que estamos trabajando por donde se debe trabajar, además no es casualidad que el Surf cuente con 25 atletas de alto rendimiento en el estado Aragua.

NAEL JOSÉ BETANCOURT PRESIDENTE DEL SURF

El nuevo presidente del Surf Nael Betancourt, se dirigió a los presentes asegurando que es “un sueño que se inició el 9 de septiembre de 2022 y este 07 de julio se hizo realidad. Tenemos metas y proyecciones que vamos a cumplir, vamos a trabajar en equipo para poder crecer como Asociación, vamos adelante remando, nadando con fuerza para tomar la ola contra corriente y surfearla como sabemos hacer”. Aseguró Betancourt presidente electo del Surf.

Por su parte, Néstor Rodríguez vocal electo del Surf, pronunció unas palabras de agradecimiento donde aseguró que es una nueva etapa del Surf en Aragua, en donde nos vamos a unir en pro de la consolidación de la Asociación de Surf de Aragua y a sus atletas y con ese trabajo mancomunado vamos a finalizar muy bien en el ranking nacional, esperamos la unión de todos para trabajar de manera firme y segura.

Tania Carvajal consultora del IRDA ilustró: “Bajo los lineamientos de la gobernadora del estado Aragua Karina Carpio, quien orienta a dar el mayor apoyo al deporte y Jorge Briceño presidente del IRDA, apuntando el soporte que la dirección de Asesoría Jurídica le debe a la conformación de los clubes para que conformen sus autoridades inmediatas o Asociaciones, estuvimos en la elección de la Asociación de Surf de Aragua, visualizando el proceso y orientando a la comisión electoral para que realizara de manera legal y sin errores el proceso eleccionario de las nuevas autoridades, que desde septiembre de 2022 han estado buscando llegar a lo que se alcanzó este viernes 07 de julio de 2023, con el proceso eleccionario de una manera eficiente y eficaz, cumpliendo con la legalidad del hecho y el derecho conforme a la Ley Orgánica del Deporte, acto que fue presidido por el presidente de la Comisión Electoral Manuel Cubillán, logrando así elegir las nuevas autoridades del Surf en Aragua.
