<p style="text-align: justify;">El reconocido cineasta venezolano, César Bolívar, perteneciente a una generación de creadores que cambiaron el curso del cine y la telenovela en el país durante los &#8217;70, &#8217;80, &#8217;90 y comienzos del siglo XXI, falleció este viernes 31 de mayo, a los 79 años.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">La noticia se informó por medio de su hijo, el actor y cantautor César Román, quien le dedicó unas palabras desde su cuenta de Instagram, acompañado de una foto donde se aprecia un estrechón de manos entre ellos.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">“Nos veremos ahí. En la “Bachata Rosa” de Juan Luis. En el “Unicornio” de Silvio o cuando toque Kenny G. Nos veremos ahí. En una buena receta con vaso corto en las rocas. O en algún buen restaurante que nos hubiese gustado ir. Nos veremos ahí. En la primera lectura de algún guion que quiera ser la mejor película que hayas podido hacer”, escribió en la publicación.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Las reacciones sobre el fallecimiento de Bolívar no se hicieron esperar por sus amigos y allegados relacionados con el medio de la actuación y el cine.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">El presidente de la Cinemateca Nacional, Vladimir Sosa Sarabia, publicó en su cuenta de X, sus palabras de condolencias por la partida física del director.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">El ministro del Poder Popular para la Cultura, Ernesto Villegas, expresó sus condolencias a familiares y amigos del cineasta y elogió su obra fílmica.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Asimismo, el actor Orlando Urdaneta, quien trabajó con Bolívar cuando era director de fotografía en las películas de Román Chalbaud, rememoró su personalidad y lamentó su muerte.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">“El cine venezolano sigue sufriendo malos ratos. Ahora nos deja César Bolívar (…) Recordarlo me trae el inclemente sol de La Guaira, sobre nuestras nucas en medio de las risotadas, rodando El pez que fuma”, apuntó.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Filmes destacados<br />
Cabe resaltar que César Bolívar filmó dos películas emblemáticas del cine venezolano y que actualmente son consideradas como referencias obligadas de estudio en las artes audiovisuales: Domingo de Resurrección (1982) y Homicidio culposo (1984).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Mientras la primera es considerada una de las primeras comedias hechas en el país y que representó un éxito de taquilla, la segunda logró marcar un antes y un después, debido a que fue la más vista, con 1.335.335 espectadores, cifra rota en 2013 con Papita, maní, tostón, de Luis Carlos Hueck, tras alcanzar 1.979.917.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">También participó en telenovelas exitosas como Sangre azul y Estefanía, en los &#8217;70 y a comienzos del siglo XXI en Hechizo de amor, Amantes de luna llena, Cosita rica y Ciudad bendita.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Con su partida, son tres cineastas que han partido en este año, César Bolívar, Román Chalbaud y Margot Benacerraf.</p>
