CIUDAD MCY.-Este domingo 17 de marzo, después de la santa misa en la parroquia San Mateo Apóstol, se realizará la inauguración del cuarto mural elaborado con tapas plásticas en la calle Colombia del municipio Bolívar. Así lo anunció oficialmente el párroco de la jurisdicción, Ángel Fernández.

El presbítero explicó que la obra lleva por nombre “San Mateo, Tierra de Bendiciones” y en ella se le rinde homenaje no solo a la patrona de Aragua, la Virgen de Belén, sino que también se resalta la religión, música, tradiciones, el deporte, arte, cultura, la historia y fe del pueblo sanmateano.

Fernández detalló: “este mural, de 45 metros de largo y 4 metros de alto, se encuentra en su etapa final gracias al esfuerzo y la colaboración de la feligresía sanmateana que se ha venido sumando desde nuestra parroquia eclesiástica y Santuario Nuestra Señora de Belén. Estamos culminando esta significativa obra, para su oficial inauguración”.

Asimismo, dijo sentirse orgulloso de llevar adelante esta iniciativa que se hace en la municipalidad, la cual arriba al número cuatro. “Ha sido muy gratificante y bonita la experiencia para todo el talentoso equipo que nos ha acompañado durante el desarrollo de estos cuatros murales ecológicos con ayuda de los pobladores, esperamos seguir adelante con este gran proyecto que además ha servido de unión para la comunidad”, aseveró.

Fernández aspira la masiva asistencia de las personas este 17 de marzo en la inauguración del mural “San Mateo Tierra de Bendiciones”, recordando que se hará luego de la acostumbrada celebración religiosa dominical.

“Nos llenaría de mucha honra contar con la presencia de todos, incluyendo la de los medios de comunicación, quienes han sido pilares fundamentales en la exaltación de nuestras labores y actividades culturales, recreativas y religiosas. ¡Dios les bendiga a todos!”, finalizó el sacerdote.
